Rosie, our foundation bitch, bred by Val Burns.
A truly beautiful and versatile lady, she has represented the Golden Retriever at Discover Dogs and Crufts and has also touched the heart of everyone that has met her, particularly in the field which is her first love.
Despite the demands of our busy family life, she still managed to achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizens Scheme Awards by 18 months, and at 9 months she was the youngest dog on the KCJO Bronze Good Citizens team at Crufts in 2000, back again by invitation in 2001.
Her Obedience Awards included the Beginners Obedience cup at the Southern Golden Retriever Society Championship show.
Show awards at both Open and Championship level, including firsts at Championship shows.
Working Test awards and Show Gundog Working Certificate.
What more could I ask? ……..
